La Kasbah in Kairouan has a great location just outside the old Medina, which made exploring super easy. While the room was charming and clean, it felt a bit dated and had some issues, like a safe that didn’t work and a problem with ants. The dining options had potential, but both the breakfast and dinner buffets left something to be desired. Overall, it was an interesting place to stay, but I felt it was overpriced for what it offered.

The hotel has a stunning, fortress-like exterior and an appealing traditional decor inside, but I found the facilities to be a bit worn and in need of upgrades. While my room was spacious and offered a lovely view of the pool, I did encounter some issues like insufficient electrical outlets and some maintenance problems in the bathroom.
