La Kasbah in Kairouan has a great location just outside the old Medina, which made exploring super easy. While the room was charming and clean, it felt a bit dated and had some issues, like a safe that didn’t work and a problem with ants. The dining options had potential, but both the breakfast and dinner buffets left something to be desired. Overall, it was an interesting place to stay, but I felt it was overpriced for what it offered.

I had a pleasant stay at La Kasbah, enjoying its beautiful location near the medina and the Grand Mosque. The friendly staff made a lovely impression with their warm welcome and helpful advice. However, the comfort of the room left a bit to be desired, as the mattresses were hard and not very inviting.

My stay at La Kasbah was quite a mixed experience. The hotel has a stunning, fortress-like exterior and an appealing traditional decor inside, but I found the facilities to be a bit worn and in need of upgrades. The location is excellent, being central and close to the Medina, but I encountered several issues that compromised my overall enjoyment.

La Kasbah is an interesting hotel with a unique location inside the historic kasbah of Kairouan. While my room was spacious and offered a lovely view of the pool, I did encounter some issues like insufficient electrical outlets and some maintenance problems in the bathroom. The dining experience was also average but the desserts were good. Overall, while there were enjoyable aspects, some improvements are needed to meet a true 5-star experience.
